The main cities in the north central area with lakes near by are Lincoln City, Waldport, Seaside,and Warrenton/ Astoria.>

In Clatsop(North country), Long, Smith, Sunset and Fishhawk are primary lakes. Cullaby, Spring and Lytle are smaller lakes as you move south. In Lincoln county, Devils Lake is the main Lake. Eckman Lake is south of there, near Waldport.

South/central lakes are near the bigger towns of Florence, Coos Bay,North Bend, Bandon ,Gold Beach, Port Orford and Brookings .This area of central and southern Oregon Coast consists of several main rivers, some with bays on the Pacific Ocean as well as numerous lakes that are boatable and have good fishing.The Pacific Ocean receives fresh water from the Siuslaw River near Florence,the Coos River near Coos Bay/North Bend and Rogue, Elk, Sixes, Chetco and Winchuck Rivers are found in the south.

This beautiful area of Oregon is known for its ocean fishing for Salmon and other bottom fish. The rivers provide a good fishery for Steelhead and Salmon. Tenmile Lake is a bass and trout fishery. It is quite large with a number of fingers and few roads. The climate is mild and the summers are pleasant. Bandon is known for its quality golf courses and all the area is very scenic.
