Little Bitterroot Lake, Montana
	Description: Little Bitterroot Lake, Montana often just called Bitterroot is located on 2,969.8 acres with a length of 11.4 miles of shore length. The average depth is 114 ft..To many in this area,this lake is known for its lunker trout. The area is 95% private ownership. The lake is north off Hwy.2, just west of Kalispell about 20 miles and 70 miles to Libby. The small community of Marion, Montana is where you turn to the north to reach the lake. There is a small dam that lets water out to form the Little Bitterroot river not to be confused with the Bitterrroot River in Ravalli County south of Missoula. There are homes located around the lake, some small and some showplaces. You can expect to pay at least $250,000 for a good starter cabin. Land on the lake starts at about $350,000. There were some tracts as large as 100 plus acres for $7000.00 per acre.
