The lake is just east of the highway and a short distance from the city. The lake is a flood control lake.The Coast Fork of the Willamette feeds the lake and runs north from the dam. The property is really not on the lake but across the road on east side and west sides of the lake. There is a lot of recreation and areas to camp and boat.The government controls the shore line. The lake is lowered in the winter. Fishing includes trout as well as bass.
